I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and a Registered Nurse (RN) with 6 years of experience working in Maternal & Newborn Care in Saskatoon. My heart lies in Motherhood and in helping others which led me to you!
Nourish Lactation Support Services is a private practice based out of Saskatoon offering personal 1:1, in home, pre and post natal lactation consultations.
Regular, prenatal visits with your health care professional(s) are encouraged during the developmental stages of your baby. In addition to these appointments, a consultation with a lactation consultant, at any stage, can be helpful. Using a holistic approach, we will address your needs and ensure that your breastfeeding experience is one that you'll enjoy!
What is a lactation consultant?
An International Board Certified Lactation Consultant is a healthcare professional who specializes in the clinical management of breastfeeding. An IBCLC is certified by the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners® (IBLCE®), independently accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) of the Institute for Credentialing Excellence (ICE).
What is a Registered Nurse?
In Saskatchewan, Registered Nurses (RNs) are self regulated health care professionals who have attained a four year baccalaureate degree in nursing and have passed the national registered nurse licensure exam. The Saskatchewan Registered Nurses' Association (SRNA) regulates, registers and licenses all RNs.
